NAPLEX & MPJE
Pharmacists must pass the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX) licensure exam in order to practice upon graduation, and Gatton offers elite pharmacy training to prepare future pharmacists to pass this important exam. The college's Class of 2025 ranked among the top five accredited pharmacy schools in the U.S. and No. 1 in Tennessee, No. 1 in the region, and No. 2 in the Southeast.
The Class of 2025 also ranked No. 4 in the country among accredited pharmacy schools on the Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination (MPJE), which is required for licensure in most states, including Tennessee, and is designed to assess knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations. That pass rate was also tops in Tennessee.

APPE READINESS
The P3 Objective Structured Clinical Exams (OSCE) pass rate below demonstrates the preparedness of P3 student pharmacists for Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE) in the P4 year. The pass rate indicates the percentage of P3 students successfully completing this 16-station objective structured clinical examination prior to the beginning of the third year spring semester.
