With ETSU Gatton College of Pharmacy's 3+1 Pathway you can earn a Bachelor of Science (BS) in a science discipline and your Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) at ETSU in 7 years. Here are some highlights of the pathway:
- Earn a Bachelor of Science in your chosen science discipline: Chemistry, Biology, or Health Sciences
- Earn an undergraduate degree in only 3 years at ETSU, completing Gatton prerequisites, ETSU general education requirements, and upper-level major courses.
- Your first year in pharmacy school (P1 year) will overlap with your senior year as undergraduate. The courses from your P1 year transfer back to your undergraduate major.
- The total time to obtain a BS in your science discipline and your PharmD is 7 years (3 years undergraduate, 4 years pharmacy school).
