Resident Director
The recruitment process for 2024-2025 RDs has concluded. At this time, individuals who are interested in the position are still able to submit an application, following the instructions as noted in the Prospective RD Guidebook. In the event that we have positions to fill, we will review any completed applications that have been received. Thank you for your interest in a Graduate Assistantship (GA) with the Department of Housing and Residence Life.
We are now recruiting for Resident Director (RD) positions for 2024-2025. Those interested in applying should review completely the Prospective RD Guidebook for the job description and qualifications, application deadline, interview dates, and information about the Housing and Residence Life.
A complete application packet consists of all of the items below, which must be printed and sent via instructions in the Prospective RD Guidebook:
- Your motivations for applying for the RD position
- A description of Residence Life/Student Life activities you have participated in and/or work experiences and skills you feel qualify you for the RD position
- Your definition of what community development means to you, and how you would establish a sense of community within a residential environment
- A resume that includes all employment you have held (full and part-time), starting with your most-recent position. Your resume should also address your educational background and GPA.

Applications will be reviewed as they are received. Those who are selected to interview will be notified by mid-March. An individual interview is required, and will be scheduled for those selected.
