Transfer & Adult Student Preview

During your PREVIEW experience you get the option of picking between a one-day preview and the traditional preview program. You will get the opportunity to meet many of your fellow classmates, make friends, and learn more about the campus while having a great deal of fun along the way! The goal of PREVIEW is that you leave empowered to be as successful as possible. 

Fall 2026 PREVIEW Information

While not required, Transfer and Adult students are highly encouraged to attend one of two PREVIEW Options: 

  1. Attend Traditional Preview (students 23 and younger) with all incoming freshman students that is multiple days long to get an in depth look at your new campus home and meet other new students. Learn more about Traditional Preview here. 
    • Fall 2026 Preview will be August 19 through August 22.
  2. Attend One-Day Preview to get to know other transfer and adult students as well as learn more about how to make the most of your time at ETSU.  See below for an overview of what to expect. 
    • Fall 2026 One-Day Preview will be Friday, August 21.

One Day Preview Overview

  • 9am: Check-In/Breakfast (Culp Student Center, 3rd Floor)
  • 10am: Small Group
  • 11:30am: Lunch with Group Leaders
  • 12:30pm: DJ Trivia
  • 2:00pm: Small Group
  • 3:30pm: New Student Convocation
  • 4:30pm: ETSU Class Photo
  • 6pm: Dinner with Group Leaders
  • 8pm: Silent Disco and The Magician
