Information for Students
Taking ETSU Course Tests
Tests will be proctored in University Testing Services on the 1st floor of Sherrod Library. Call 423-439-7608 for directions. Appointments are required. To make an appointment:
- Click here to get to our exam scheduling site
- Choose a group. Note: ETSU exams is the initial option for course testing, Major Field Tests, and CCTST.
- Choose the subject of that class that you will be testing for
- Choose your professor
- Now choose the exam that you will be taking. Note: Some professors use the testing center for several classes at once--please make sure that you're selecting the right exam for the right class.
- Choose the date and time you wish to schedule your exam
- Fill out your informaiton
- Ensure that after adding to cart, you complete the check out process. If the exam is left in your cart without checking out, your appointment is not made and we will not be able to test you.
The sooner you make your appointment, the more likely you are to get a seat on the
day and time you prefer. It is strongly recommended that you make all of your test
appointments as far in advance as possible.
Important: Dont wait. You must register and make your selection at least 6 hours prior
to your preferred test time in order to save your reservation.

To Cancel or Reschedule an Exam Appointment
- Enter your email address
- Follow the link from your email
- Delete your reservation
NOTE: if the Scheduled time has passed, you do not need to cancel in order to reschedule.
