A unique offering of ETSU's Media and Communication program is our direct connection to industry partners. Below, we have highlighted several organizations students are currently working with across various sectors of the industry.

INDUSTRY PARTNERS
We partner with many local and national businesses and institutions to provide meaningful experiences to our students and the community. These partnerships take form in hands-on classroom application, enabling our students to gain real world experience in the career paths they’ve chosen.
Cox Automotive | Barberitos | Tri-City Otters |
Eastman Chemical Company | First Tennessee Development District | Upper East Tennessee Human Development Agency |
One Acre Cafe |
ETSU PARTNERS
We collaborate with many departments on campus. Many of our students have graduate assistantships, tuition scholarships or academic performance scholarships with other departments, working in public relations, social media, broadcasting, content creation and more.
Graduate students in the BucDigital project class build websites, create content and manage campaigns for several of our on-campus partners. Undergraduate students partner in the form of class projects to support marketing and communication goals.
*Website created and managed by a BucDigital Project Team.
Buc Brands
Buc Brands is our department’s collaborative project with various community partners. Buc Brands is part of our advertising and public relations students’ capstone course. Students work in small teams – or agencies – to create advertising solutions for their client. Work by Buc Brands includes: rebranding, photography and videography, print and digital advertising, public relations, social media and other forms of strategic communication. Students are encouraged to be creative and strategic in their problem-solving and project execution. Buc Brands allows students to get hands-on experience with real clients before graduation, equipping them with the skills they need for successful media careers.
