Elementary Education 2 + 2 Cohort Program
Students attend conveniently scheduled classes to complete the Bachelor of Science in Education and initial K-5 licensure. Classes and placements in local schools allow candidates to have a regional impact.
The Elementary Education 2 + 2 Program offers value-added opportunity: Complete your first 60 hours at your local community college before earning your remaining 60 hours at one of the convenient ETSU locations in Sevierville or Johnson City.
Local convenience, local collaboration
The Elementary Education 2 + 2 Program is tailored for student success through a cohort structure. Every fall semester, the cohort at each location begins with junior level courses. A cohort ensures its members the support of meaningful collaborative relationships with both faculty and other students. Cohort group support, small class sizes, convenient scheduling and local placement for teaching residencies all provide an enriched learning experience that facilitates stellar performance.
