APS Scholarships for Freshmen
The Academic Performance Scholarship Program (APS) is ETSU's largest merit based scholarship program for new freshmen students from Tennessee and border counties eligible for in-state tuition. These scholarships are awarded based on a combination of high school GPA and ACT/SAT scores for freshmen.
To be considered, you must:
1. Apply for admission to ETSU and submit all required documents to the Office of Undergraduate
Admissions by the Friday of the first week of classes for the semester in which you
are applying. Students whose documents are received after this date will not be considered
for APS scholarships.
2. Send ETSU Office of Undergraduate Admissions your official high school transcripts.
3. Send ETSU Office of Undergraduate Admissions your ACT or SAT scores. Only test
scores earned before March 1st (before your first fall term at ETSU) will be used to determine eligibility.
- Test Score Deadline Temporarily Extended - Test scores earned before June 1st will be used to determine eligibility for APS scholarships**
