    This classification is for students taking courses but are not intent on transferring courses to another program at any university (including ETSU). This classification is also for those that are considered senior citizens by the university taking courses as audit.

    Note: Students enrolled as non-degree are not guaranteed specific class selections. Class permits are granted only at the discretion of the particular department offering the courses.

    • Must confirm that you obtained a bachelor or US bachelor equivalent and provide university name and what year you graduated. Will be required to submit proof of degree by end of the first semester you attend.
  • Intent To Transfer

    This classification is for students applying to another program at ETSU.

    Note: Students can only transfer up to 9 credit hours and credit hour transfers are at the discretion of the department for which you later apply.

    • Must confirm that you obtained a bachelor or US bachelor equivalent and provide university name and what year you graduated. Will be required to submit copies of all transcripts and proof of degree from prior universities by the end of the first semester you attend (these will transfer with your file to your new degree application).

    • Include a statement indicating what ETSU program you would like to transfer these hours toward.
  • Visiting Students

    This classification is for students that are visiting and going back to their home institution.

    • Must submit a Letter of Good Standing from your current university. 

     Transcripts

    • Unofficial transcripts from all colleges and universities attended, including a transcript that reflects the individual has earned a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
