The deadlines below are for completing the supplemental Graduate School application and pertain to those applicants recommended for admission by the Department.
Applicants must first apply through SOPHAS before the SOPHAS published deadline. Once the Department recommends a candidate, they are provided with instructions for completing the supplemental Graduate School application.Graduate School applications will only be processed once a complete SOPHAS application is submitted and a Departmental recommendation for admission is issued.

Requirements
Transcripts
- Official transcripts must be submitted through SOPHAS.
- International applicants must submit to SOPHAS a course-by-course evaluation of the foreign transcript from World Education Service (WES).
Recommendations
- At least three recommendations must be submitted through SOPHAS.
GPA
- Domestic applicants: 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale)
- International applicants: 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
Test Scores
- Graduate Record Examination (GRE) test scores are not required for admission. Although not required, applicants with a GPA of less than 3.2 are encouraged to include GRE test scores with their application.
Personal Statement
- Describe your source of interest in public health, professional goals, and why you would be a good fit for the MPH program.
