Service Leave
In response to Hurricane Helene and the devastation in our region, President Brian Noland authorized up to15 hours of service leave for all full-time, benefits-eligible employees during the State of the University on October 11, 2024.
Service Leave is intended to allow employees time to volunteer with local relief organizations or to help in other ways in our region. You can find a listing of organizations on the ETSU Serves platform, which is designed to connect you to regional volunteer opportunities in East Tennessee. ETSU Serves will be hosting orientation sessions that will assist with logging in to their system, recording leave time, and finding suitable volunteer opportunities.
