U.S. Department of State

The East Tennessee State University Post Office has been officially designated as a Passport Acceptance Facility by the U.S. Department of State. Students, faculty, staff, and members of the community are now able to apply for a U.S. Passport Book and/or Passport Card directly through our office.

As a Passport Acceptance Facility, we are authorized to receive your completed application for a U.S. Passport and submit the application along with all necessary documentation to the U.S. Department of State, Passport Services Division. Passport Services will then determine eligibility for a U.S. Passport. It is important to note that only the U.S. Department of State can make the final decision to issue a passport to an individual. 

Hours of Operation Monday - Friday: 08:00 AM - 2:30 PM Appointments are recommended. Walk-ins are taken on a space available basis only and are not guaranteed service. Call (423) 439-7277 to schedule an appointment or visit Passport Appointments. Closed Weekends and University Holidays

Directions and Parking Paid parking is available in the visitor lot adjacent to ETSU Postal Services. The ETSU Post Office is located on the lower level of the D.P. Culp University Center.
