Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies

Welcome to WGSS!

Graduates from our program provide a pool of accomplished critical thinkers who are focused on civic engagement, social justice, and change and who can help to satisfy the continuing need to improve the lives, opportunities, and futures of women, LGBTQ individuals, and other marginalized persons or groups. 

WGSS minors are eligible for scholarships and travel opportunities to regional events and professional development via academic conferences. Our students take classes across campus to complete their personalize program of study and find mentors in various departments we partner with. Diversity training, internships, and volunteer opportunities all aid in helping you develop transformational leadership skills while learning about Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
