WGS on Wednesdays
Welcome to WGS on Wednesdays: A legacy of the Women on Wednesdays lecture series!
The “Women and Gender Studies on Wednesdays” series is designed to raise awareness about the research, scholarship and community engagement conducted by those across the gender spectrum at ETSU; to provide a venue where women on campus and in the community can discuss and support each other’s work; and to give students an opportunity to meet faculty who could become mentors for their studies.
Established by former Program Director Dr. Phyllis Thompson in 2012, the then-called "Women on Wednesdays" series was designed to highlight the academic work of women on campus. Since the series' inception, a wide array of faculty, graduate students, and advanced undergraduate students have presented their research to faculty, staff, students and the community.
Please contact wgss@etsu.edu with any questions and for information about disability accommodations.
