Students from the College of Business and Technology (CBAT) recently had the opportunity to attend the Tennessee Bankers Association Annual Credit Conference, thanks to support from the Center for the Study of Finance and Mountain Commerce Bank. The trip proved to be not only a valuable learning experience but also a chance for the students to showcase their professionalism and dedication.
Joshua Adams, Kylie Austin, Milind Chaturvedi, and Brooklyn Davidson—served as outstanding ambassadors for both the college as well as their university.
During the conference, the students engaged in networking, attended presentations, and formed social bonds. They also took the initiative to meet and converse with General Andrew Poppas, a five-star general who commands the U.S. Army Forces Command. The students' proactive approach left a lasting impression on General Poppas, who honored them with his command’s commemorative coin, typically reserved for VIPs.
This experience not only highlights the excellence of ETSU's students but also underscores the university's commitment to providing a high-quality education that prepares students for success in their future careers.
