Circulation desk assistance is always available during library hours. Circulation staff can provide assistance with:

• checkout of library materials
• finding books, journals and audiovisual materials

Checkout Policies

Loan Period - Students

• Books: 28 days, 90 days for Faculty
• Journals: 3 days
• Board Review: 3 days
• Student Reserves: 2 hours (In-Library)
• Projector: 7 days
• Bikes
• Yoga Mats

Overdue Materials

The medical library does not charge a standard per-day overdue fee. After courtesy notices from the library, items that are not returned may result in the borrower being charged replacement fees (which can sometimes result in student account blocks if not settled). Please make every effort to return items on time, especially Reserve materials which are short-term loans to ensure access by all members of a class. 

Hold & Recall

All circulating books in the library (except those on reserve) may be placed on hold or recalled. If an item is needed for class instruction, the library reserves the right to recall it immediately. Failure to comply will result in fines and/or loss of library privileges. Please call or visit the Circulation Desk (439-6253) for further information or how to place a hold or recall.
