May 1
- By May 1, HR sends list of eligible candidates to Dean
- Upon receipt, Dean sends list of eligible candidates to Department Chair
By May 15
Department Chair notifies candidate of eligibility
By July 15
- Eligible candidate notifies Department Chair of intent to apply
By August 15
- ETSU Watermark coordinator creates schedules in Watermark Faculty Success
- Candidate is notified when system is ready
By September 15
Candidate submits application materials

Faculty Handbook
The Faculty Handbook is a compilation of institutional policies, procedures, forms, guidelines, services, and resources. The Faculty Senate is the steward of the faculty handbook. All revisions to the Faculty Handbook are subject to the approval of the President of ETSU. -
Accounts Payable (Travel Forms)
Faculty can find Business and Finance forms by department at this site. Under Travel, faculty can find the forms to complete to authorize travel and forms to complete once travel is complete. -
Time Reporting System (TRS)
Information Technology Services, in conjunction with Business and Finance, developed an electronic timesheet to facilitate ETSU's time reporting process within the Time Record System (TRS). -

Request to Stop the Tenure Clock
Faculty who wish to stop the tenure clock may do so. Before completing this request faculty are encouraged to seek the advice of their chair. The Request to Stop the Tenure Clock Formis an essential step in the process. -
Emeritus Request
Faculty who meet eligibility for emeritus may complete the required paperwork to request Emeritus status Form.
