One beautiful evening in the spring of 2005, five top-call brass players in Atlanta decided to get together on a whim to read brass quintets. Midtown Brass was born, and the lives of those five players would forever be changed. Eighteen years later, MBQ is still thrilling audiences with an eclectic palatte of music. From Bach to The Beatles, Mozart to Mraz, Elgar to Elvis, Gershwin to Grainger, including some of their own unique arrangements and compositions MBQ has something for all ages and tastes. |
Participation fee is $20 and includes all Brass Day events, t-shirt, dinner, and admission to the Midtown Brass evening concert.
