Emeritus Director of Bands, Morehead State University

Two days of rehearsal and working with incredible faculty that culminates in a concert in the state-of-the-art Martin Center for the Arts!

Festival Schedule

Friday, January 26, 2024

8:00 a.m.         Registration for participants (Martin Center lobby)

8:45 a.m.         Meeting for all participants and directors in the Martin Center Grand Hall

9:00 a.m.         Seating of participants in Gold Band on stage; rehearsal begins

11:45 a.m.       Lunch break 

1:00 p.m.         Master class with applied faculty (*Room assignments, TBA) 

2:45 p.m.         Rehearsals resume with honor band (breaks, when needed)

6:30 p.m.         Rehearsal ends for the day 

Saturday, January 27, 2024

8:30 a.m.         Rehearsal begins

11:30 a.m.       Lunch break; cases/belongings moved to another location

1:00 p.m.         Light rehearsal/touch-ups on stage 

1:45 p.m.         Light rehearsal ends; students get dressed in concert attire

2:30 p.m.         Honor Band concert begins – Martin Center Grand Hall
