- Mathes Hall 102
Sidney Sprunger (she/her) serves as the Events Coordinator for the Department of Music at East Tennessee State University, where she draws on her extensive background in stage management, production, and event planning to support the university’s mission of fostering community and the arts.
She holds an MFA in Stage Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with production credits spanning 35 shows, including Fun Home, The Royale, Into the Woods with the 574 Theatre Company (a Deaf Theatre Project), The Magic Flute and The Tender Land with UFOMT, and multiple Shakespeare productions with Actors from the London Stage.
Prior to joining ETSU, Sidney worked as the School of Music Coordinator at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, collaborating closely with the events office to advance and support all School of Music performances. She also served as the External Programs Coordinator for the Siebel Center for Design, further expanding her experience in educational programming and logistics.
Sidney holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Vocal Performance and Theatre (with a concentration in Stage Management). Her classical music training and theatrical background inform her collaborative approach and dedication to delivering well-organized, engaging events. Outside of work, she enjoys working out, traveling, embroidery, hiking, and spending time with dogs—preferably with an ice cream cone in hand.
