Congratulations to our two ETSU Political Science students selected for the 2025 Tennessee Legislative Internship Program!
This prestigious program places outstanding students from across Tennessee in full-time roles at the Tennessee General Assembly, where they work directly with legislators on constituent services, bill research, policy analysis, and the day-to-day operations of the state legislature. Interns spend 16 weeks in Nashville gaining invaluable, real-world experience in public service and state government while earning 15 hours of academic credit toward their degree.
We are incredibly proud of Sydney Gatewood and Sophia Myers for earning spots in such a competitive program. Their commitment to learning, leadership, and service reflects the very best of ETSU and we cannot wait to see the impact they’ll make this spring!
