BucsPress2 is a 24-hour mental health help line for ETSU Students.  It provides FREE, confidential crisis counseling over the phone. It is supported 24/7/365 by well-being and clinical professionals contracted by the Counseling Center.

Is BucsPress2 right for you?

  1. You are a current ETSU student.
  2. You, or another student, needs to talk and feel supported.
  3. You are in emotional crisis and are unable to go to The Counseling Center.
  4. You are not having a life-threatening emergency.

  • When calling this service, you can expect a counselor to:
    • Gather a little information about you to help with any follow up you may need or want.
    • Offer you brief support focused on your current situation.
    • Assess for any safety concerns.
    • Assist you in creating a plan for your continued care and wellbeing. 
  • This service is an extension of The Counseling Center and protects your right to privacy and confidentiality.
  • BucsPress2 isn't a substitute for counseling and should be used as crisis support and planning.
