Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment
Therapy (“ACT”) to help clients explore the connections between their thoughts, feelings
and actions. Additionally, Zara utilizes Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction techniques
designed to give clients the opportunity to connect to the present, even in the face
of stress. Zara enjoys working with a variety of clients, including those navigating
life-transitions, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, those experiencing relational
or family concerns, and individuals who have neurodivergence related concerns. In
his spare time, Zara enjoys spending time with his friends and family, reading, and
exploring the beauty of the Appalachian Mountains.
