Counseling and Academic Resource Essential Services - CARES

The CARES department provides comprehensive services to support the success and well-being of medical students, post-graduates, residents, and fellows. CARES encompasses two units – Counseling and Mental Health Services and Academic Support.

  • Referrals to one-on-one tutoring for those experiencing academic difficulty
• Peer Tutoring

  • Individual tutoring for students experiencing academic challenges
  • Group study and review sessions hosted by the AOA
