Basler Team Challenge & Aerial Adventure Course

The Basler Team Challenge and Aerial Adventure Course is a state of the art low and high ropes outdoor experience. The course offers a full range of adventurous activities including: ground-level team building initiatives; two ziplines; a giant swing; quick descent; and a three-level aerial challenge tower with elements ranging from easy to difficult and between 15 – 45 feet in the air.

    Make a personal Trail Mix Bag and swing through the sky into Finals Week! Outdoor Adventure invites you to a classic of ETSU! Come out and experience the giant swing and make a goodie bag to help you destress for finals. All ingredients provided by OA. Perfect amount of stoke provided by YOU!!

    Reserved programs are available for all! The Challenge Course (similar to a giant obstacle course in the air!) offers the opportunity for participants to stretch their physical and mental limits and includes 21 unique climbing, zipping, walking, balancing, and swinging challenges as participants move from element to element. The Low Course offers more teambuilding and group focused activities on and close to the ground.

    Perhaps your group is a newly formed club, medical team, community group, or school class. All can find challenge, teamwork, and ways to explore group dynamics through creative thinking and working together. Outdoor Adventure can tailor programs to suit your goals.

    Group Types
    • ETSU Groups: Classes, activity groups, departments, sororities and fraternities can all reserve the challenge course and teambuilding services from Outdoor Adventure.
    • Non-Profit and ETSU Sponsored Groups: Local non-profit groups, schools, sports teams, and ETSU sponsored groups can experience the course and teambuilding elements with Outdoor Adventure.
    • Community Groups: Any group outside of ETSU is welcome to reserve the course or teambuilding event with ETSU Outdoor Adventure.

Locations: The Basler Team Challenge and Aerial Adventure Course is located on ETSU’s campus at 503 Go Bucs Trail. The Challenge Course Pavilion is located at 505 Go Bucs Trail. Parking is available in lot 22A across from the challenge course pavilion on Go Bucs Trail. 

Challenge Course Info and Documents

Groups must have a minimum of eight (8) participants or pay for a minimum of eight (8) participants.

If there are 6 or more people using a recreation space for an activity, excluding open/informal recreation, this is considered a group that must have an approved reservation to use the space.
