Sarah Fellenbaum is an active teacher, orchestral performer, and chamber musician throughout Tennessee. She is currently on the faculty of East Tennessee State University and Maryville College.
Sarah is a regular performer with the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, performing on Masterworks, Chamber Classics, Outreach, and Education Concerts since 2007. She has performed with Knoxville Opera since 2012 in multiple productions, and has also played with the Knoxville Choral Society, the Oak Ridge Symphony Orchestra, the Johnson City Symphony Orchestra, and Marble City Opera.
Sarah has extensive experience teaching students of all ages. In addition to her work
at ETSU and Maryville College, she maintains a private studio, has worked with the
trumpet and brass sections of middle school and high school band programs throughout
Knoxville, and is a sought-after clinician for festivals, band camps, and master
classes.
Sarah received a Master’s degree in Trumpet Performance at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2007, and received her Bachelor’s degree in Trumpet Performance in 2005 from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
