Candice Mitchell is a former ETSU Majorette and former Feature Twirler for Sullivan Central High School, in Blountville TN. Mitchell started twirling baton at age 8, and has won many awards at talent shows, band competitions and Drum Majorettes of America competitions. With 17 years of coaching experience, she has taught many award winning twirlers who have successfully earned a spot on their middle, high school and college majorette lines. Mitchell is the owner of Tri-Cities Twirling Academy in Blountville, Tennessee. She also volunteers her time in teaching the Holston Middle School Twirl Team and the Central Cougars Youth Athletics Twirl Team, where she hopes to not only educate these children in baton twirling, but to also help keep baton twirling alive.
